AVRS FILES A REQUEST FOR REHEARING OF THE BOARD OF PATENTS APPEALS AND INTERFERENCES’ DECISION IN THE INTERFERENCE
SCOTTSDALE, AZ – June 4, 2012-- Advanced Voice Recognition Systems, Inc. (“AVRS”) (OTCBB: AVOI) filed a request for rehearing in interference proceedings before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (“BPAI”).
INTERFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
On May 31, 2012 AVRS filed a request for rehearing of the BPAI’s April 27, 2012 decision. A complete copy of the filing can be found at Request for Rehearing on the Company’s website.
Mr. Geldenhuys stated, “We had various options under consideration. We chose to request a rehearing because we think the panel’s conclusion was inconsistent with its own findings of facts and overlooked or misapprehended disclosures raised throughout the proceeding.”
